THERE IS ALWAYS A NEXT TIME

Today is 15th of June ,2009(I have written this blog on 15th june,2009) and yesterday night only Eng cricket team thrashed the Indians ,still the defending champions(at least for another 1 week),out of T20 world cup which left the billions of Indian fans all over the world including me in a poignant mood.
But that’s past now. Life must move on and so as Indian cricket.

One thing which has hurt me the most is the attitude of media towards this issue.
Today morning, almost in every news channel, Indian cricket team were being criticized so callously as if they have committed a felony. Dhoni , our captain, in the post match press conference ,openly apologized to the fans for their shocking exit which indicates that he was really hurt deeply . what the news channels are doing is that they are adding fuel to the fire . I mean common this is the team which has dominated the world of cricket for nearly two years. This is the captain who has changed the face of Indian cricket with his aggressive and unruffled nature. This Indian team defeated the aussies on home soil as well as on their soil which led to their downfall. This team for the first time in nearly fifty years won test as well as ODI series in New Zealand. They had mauled almost every cricketing country they faced in last 2 years.
We should not blame them just for one failure . We should stand by them. They need our support. We should behave chivalrously towards them.

We will come back and come back hard for sure.
And the boorish media should always remember-“THERE IS ALWAYS A NEXT TIME”

  4. I'm definitely not in the category of those cricket winnows. but then, yes definitely IPL was the reason India couldn't fare well in the tournament. And sadly adding to this is the agitation between Sehwag and Dhoni and save the public gimmicks for them to cover up. it looked like a child who has lost his chocolate was asked to behave well in front of the guests for saving his dignity. But yes we still would never like to give up on the Indian cricket team . That's the spirit we all share towards them and that's one thing we all come together for. Surely the effect wont last long and Indian team will be in flying colors again and we start gasconade about them in no time.
